When a standard box doesn’t work, we carefully craft a packaging arrangement specific to the parts in your order. We routinely utilize advanced packaging and logistics resources such as custom foam, crates, pallets, boxing, and more. We apply our knowledge and expertise to every single item we ship.
Most of our inventory can go in a box that a standard carrier, such as USPS or UPS, can easily deliver anywhere in the world. The other parts, the larger items, require a freight carrier such as Estes Express or an independent hot-shot driver. We routinely deliver freight items globally; it just requires more coordination.
Shipping with Standard Carriers
Shipping airplane parts is more complicated than it sounds, but we are really good at it.
When you order an item that can ship with a standard carrier, you will get costs and transit times quickly – whether you order online or through our sales department. This information is readily available, and our systems are designed to offer you the options you need to get your parts quickly and efficiently.
Tens of thousands of items in our inventory will ship with a $10 flat rate to any continental US destination. 2-day and overnight options are available at checkout or through your sales rep.
Once your order is finalized and the carrier scans your package into their system, you will get automated emails with tracking and transit information.
Shipping with Freight Carriers
Freight deliveries require more work on our part to get scheduled, packaged, and picked up by the carrier.
Some freight items can be purchased directly through the website; others require old-fashioned effort to handle the shipment properly. If you need assistance, please contact our sales department by calling +15012298046.
Packaging fees will apply for items that require crating or palleting. Prices will vary.
We send out freight items daily, so getting your order out the door quickly is usually not a problem – though in some cases, it can take more than one day to accomplish.

Shipping with Your Carrier Account
Shipping on your account is no problem. We do have to process this order manually. We can take your payment over the phone or prepare and email a checkout link with a $0 shipping charge. This allows us to manually insert your account into the carrier details when we prepare your package. Our systems will not automatically generate any order with $0 shipping; it always requires manual order creation on our part.
This is, really, no big deal. We do this daily for customers around the world.

International Shipping
Welcome, International Buyers. In 2024, we averaged over 5 international destinations every single day and shipped to over 80 countries!
In order to get an accurate shipping quote to an international destination, we will need the complete shipping address.
All duties and taxes are the buyers’ responsibility. Please check with your local Customs office with questions regarding these charges and for a better understanding of transit times through your country’s Customs processes.
We will not mark our merchandise below value or mark them as “gifts” as both U.S. and international regulations strictly prohibit such behavior.
Expedited Shipping
If you need overnight delivery, you must order by 1:30 pm Mountain Standard Time to ensure we can get your package out the door on time. If you order after 1:30 pm MST, we can not guarantee next-day delivery. Keep in mind that no carrier fully guarantees delivery times anymore (some charge an additional fee for this), but we will always do our best to get it packaged right and out the door quickly for you.
When you order through the website, you will usually have expedited shipping options, such as overnight and 2-day air, available at checkout, and we can generally get your package shipped the same day you order as long as that order is placed before 2:30 pm Mountain Standard Time. Unless otherwise stated, shipments are not guaranteed to go out the same business day if placed after 2:30 pm Mountain Standard Time. For overnight delivery, you must place the order before 1:30 pm MST!

With over 150,000 items listed online, some parts are too large or too heavy to automatically qualify for expedited shipping. In those cases, we’ll manually assist you to ensure your order ships as quickly as possible. Calling us is the fastest way to get this handled!

Shipping Insurance
For items over $1,000, shipping insurance is added at 1% of the insured value (example: $5,000 item = $50 insurance). We strongly recommend insuring your shipment. BAS isn’t responsible for damage in transit, but insurance lets us help recover your funds if something happens on the way.
